This modern design treadmill was specifically designed for rehabilitation, making it ideal for seniors and others with reduced mobility where safety is paramount.
Treadmills can be a particular risk for people who are less confident on their feet or who may have medical issues. This treadmill reduces the risks to a minimum.
The low step-up height makes the treadmill perfectly suitable for all, minimising the risk of tripping. The emergency stop with magnetic lanyard on the standard front handrail provides additional safety for the user, as do the extended handrails. This treadmill also has a full-sized running surface of 100cm x 50cm.
As with other Smart Touch connected devices, users have their own treadmill programme which is part of their overall exercise regime, with all data collected and available for review. Users access their programme by 'tapping-on' to the RFID sensor.
The Lode treadmill offers smooth acceleration from 0 km/h and is continuously adjustable in a range of 0.1 – 20 km/h. It has the ability to gain 25% positive elevation, in 0.5% steps, which allows for a more challenging and more therapeutic workout. It is suitable for users up to 225kg.
