HUR Australia will be exhibiting at the ACCPA Conference in Adelaide on 12-14 October 2022
Leading Aged Services (LASA) and Aged & Community Services Australia (ACSA) have merged into a single, united organisation to represent aged care providers in Australia. The new body is called ACCPA ( Aged & Community Care Providers Association) and they will be running their first national conference in Adelaide 12-14 October. The ACCPA confererence is the largest age services event in Australia.
HUR Australia will be exhibiting at the conference and our research lead, Dr Tuire Karaharju-Huisman will be the first speaker at the "Wellness & Re-ablement" session on Wednesday 12th. Her topic will be "Allied Health and Exercise Therapy are Vital to Maximise the Health Outcomes for All". Read more info here.
We are also happy to announce that Dr Jennie Hewitt, who is also presenting at the event, will be at the HUR stand during the breaks talking about her SUNBEAM falls reduction project. HUR has integrated SUNBEAM as part of the SmartTouch program, including new balance exercises on the SmartBalance platform. This is a unique opportunity to talk directly with Dr Hewitt about why she chose HUR equipment and the benefits she found.
