As winter approaches in Australia, the international conference circuit is getting stronger. HUR Australia joins HUR Solutions in Singapore and HUR Finland in Dubai in spreading the message of strength and balance training.
Ageing Asia Innovation Forum
The 14th Ageing Asia Innovation Forum will be held in Marina Bay Sands, Singapore, on May 24-25, 2023. This large event gathers global leaders in business and innovation in all fields of Aged Care.
HUR Solutions will run a pre-conference seminar in collaboration with Republic Polytechnic and Singapore Institute of Technology.
The seminar, titled “Beyond Sunbeam – an Award-Winning, Game Changing Exercise Program for Residents in Long-Term Care” will be held on Monday, May 22nd at 10AM at Republic Polytechnic.
This free seminar will include two specific talks. The Sunbeam protocol lead researcher, Dr Jennie Hewitt will discuss the protocol and the findings of the research project, as well as the clinical benefits of the program roll out in long-term care.
HUR Australia’s Dr Tuire Karaharju-Huisman will give an update on the current research on exercise training in her talk titled “Exercise Therapy is essential for healthy ageing”.

Only a week later, it is time to travel to Dubai for the World Physiotherapy Congress to be held on June 2-4. This conference is always a key event for all physiotherapists around the world with the program covering many special topics of health and rehabilitation.
