The 2026 Conference Season Begins With The Leaders Summit

The start of the conference year is always an exciting time. We get to meet everyone after a break, and hear about the changes, and more importantly the visions and plans for the new year!

Our first conference this year is the Leaders Summit by DCM media, to be held at the Hyatt Regency Sydney on two weeks’ time, March 24 & 25.

This year’s Summit hosts 40 large and small operator CEOs as speakers, sharing their vision and strategies to succeed in this period of change. The two days shared with more than 500 participants, will give everyone a change to discuss funding, property, workforce, regulation, digital transformation, AI, and more.

HUR Australia’s Dr Tuire Karaharju-Huisman summarises HUR’s key concepts for DCM Media:

The Leaders Summit 2026 will cover all three areas of the industry:

  • Retirement Living – New housing models and developments, as well as care services – delivery, opportunities, pitfalls and strategies.
  • Home Care – New funding models and survival options, growth and technology challenges, workforce and acuity challenges.
  • Residential Care – Financial and regulatory certainty, technology, challenges and strategic options.
You can find more information about the conference via the official link.

One of our clients in Melbourne, MedHP, will host a one-day event on March 28. The “Upstream Human Summit” explores the powerful shift toward Healthy Longevity — a movement focused on living better, not just longer.

The conference has a list of high-quality speakers who will discuss the many aspects of preventive medicine and lifestyle science, including

  • Healthy Longevity — what it really means to live well as we age
  • Preventive health strategies backed by current medical evidence
  • Lifestyle changes that can dramatically improve quality of life

This conference is held onsite in Highett, but the material can also be purchased online. You can read more and register for this conference via this link. What a great end of March, filled with knowledge, with many more conferences to come!

We look forward to seeing you on site in Sydney in a few weeks, and later this year at many other conferences!

Best wishes,
Dr Tuire Karaharju-Huisman
