The Power of Knowledge – Introducing Our HUR Day

When our clients start planning their gyms and wellness spaces, we are keen to be part of the whole journey, from the initial conversation to the ongoing support of a successful gym.

The initial conversation on the vision and goals of the site starts the process of fitting the room with the best equipment set possible, creating a functional design planned to purpose. The conversations held together with the client allow us to choose an equipment set that can best support the users of the site, matching the goals of the business and supporting the client to develop the best possible site to suit the users.

In the initial phase of the journey, the equipment is selected, including a design of the space, continuing with detailed support on the technical setup, preparing the site for the installation and setup. After the installation, the initial training always includes both hardware and software training, to make sure that the client and all users get the best possible experience from their gym.

The full HUR Ecosystem supports the user, the instructor and the facility operator in different ways, providing a system that allows for testing, training and ongoing monitoring.

The installation of the gym is just the beginning of the support journey. We invite all clients to follow the HUR Australia blog series where we share updates on research and technology, we give talks to our clients and also offer ongoing technical support. Even decades after the initial discussions, we are in contact with our clients, supporting them and sharing their journeys. We have been publishing our Newsletters for almost 10 years, allowing us to share the stories from our clients, and the health benefits their clients are gaining.

Education is a key to success, from the initial training to the sharing of current research. Our blog is published a few times every month. The content varies from research updates to conference news, client stories and technical updates. Together with the blog we also send eNews to our clients – you can sign up via this link.

Our web site has a lot of information to be shared. We have information sites about seniors exercise, and rehabilitation, we have a training page with explanatory videos, and you can find all our previous webinar recordings and information

We pride ourselves in providing the best knowledge to support the provision of best practice guidelines. Since its beginning 37 years ago, HUR has been committed to conducting innovative physiological, biomechanical and exercise as medicine research.

Our features and developed concepts are based upon scientific work, created in accordance with recommendations from the world’s leading exercise as medicine authorities. Collaboration with multiple universities around the world, has allowed HUR to be part best-practice innovations. From this link you can find the full research index that includes research publications for many categories, such as balance, falls prevention and geriatric strength training.

We are always looking for opportunities to share the up-to-date information on research and clinical knowledge. For years we have been planning a clinical, face to face HUR Day, and we are happy to announce that the first official training day will be held in Queensland on Friday, October 16th 2026. In this afternoon training session, we will go through the current research, new technical developments and also success stories from our clients.

If you want to have more information about the event, please send us an email to sales@huraustralia.com.au.

We are also keen to hear from you – if you have any questions, you’d like to have an answer to, please let us know. We will run through a Q&A session and would love to hear from you.

We will publish the full program soon, and we look forward to seeing many of our clients in person!

Best Wishes,
