ACCPA National Conference – The Age of Change

Last week we took part in Australian Physiotherapy Association’s national conference, Ignite 2023. It was a pleasure to meet so many people, old and new friends, to discuss the opportunities HUR equipment has to offer in the rehabilitation process.

It was especially nice to introduce the newest update to our HUR SmartBalance, The Sunbeam Module. This addition to our training options, designed together with the Sunbeam lead researcher Dr Jennie Hewitt, allows for the inclusion of the Sunbeam balance exercises in the HUR Smart Touch exercise set.

The new module includes both static and dynamic balance exercises, as well as a new exercise set combining cognition, together with stepping reaction.

You can download a brochure here and see a little introduction clip below:

In a few weeks, October 25-27, it is time to talk about the benefits of exercise in ageing when we take part in the National Conference of Aged & Community Care Providers Association, ACCPA, at the Adelaide Convention Centre.

This conference is Australia’s Largest Aged Care Event, gathering industry professionals from all fields, to discuss innovation, collaboration, and excellence in care, to make ageing great for all. Last year’s inaugural event was attended by 1800 professionals, and this year’s event promises to be even bigger.

You can find HUR Australia at booth 42-43, where you can try out the new Sunbeam module, as well as other training games we have recently included as part of our Smart Balance software.

We look forward to seeing you all in Adelaide!
