We are so exited to introduce our HUR Cardio range and now offer a full exercise ecosystem that already contains Strength and Balance & Cognition solutions.
All HUR cardio equipment is fully compatible with the SmartTouch™ system, automatically connecting to personal profiles, and therefore tracking progress with synchronised workout data across all devices.
The HUR Cardio products offer a range of equipment including an upright bike, a recumbent bike, elliptical trainer and treadmill. I was lucky to visit the HUR office in Helsinki earlier this year and try these pieces. You can see these short trial videos via this link.
All devices are fitted with a large screen, allowing for easy navigation throughout the training options. Whilst manual training is possible, the system includes many preset workouts such as Hill, Ramp, HIIT, and Weight Loss, all with specific training profiles, designed to keep every session effective and engaging. You can also plan your training by using spefic targets: time, distance, heart rate or calories. All these options allow the users to train with their individual goals, registering all thetraining dat into the Smart Touch system.
The large screen also allows the user to access information, or entertainment. Users can access the internet during workouts to watch videos, follow online content, or browse the news. Browser access can be enabled or disabled by the facility according to its preferences.
The equipment is also fitted with videos from outdoor locations with the scenic routes bringing variety to cardio training whilst creating a more engaging workout experience. This is the chance for our users to visit the snow-covered Lapland!
Users can also track their heart rate through the contact handles or connect compatible Bluetooth heart rate monitors, including chest straps, and select smart devices, for a more connected experience.
The larger screens are now used in all HUR SmartTouch devices. The new HUR Hi5 DU4 Smart Touch Screen allows for better visual functionality and also introduces new functions to training.
It is always wonderful to introduce new products! We will have our new upright bike on display at our upcoming events, the next one being the Positive Ageing Summit to be held in Adelaide Hilton on May 20-21.
